PERSONAL SUMMARY

I am a communications and marketing practitioner, strategic consultant, project and events manager, and entrepreneur. I originally started my career as an advertising copywriter, and went on to freelance, offering a variety of communications and consulting services across a range of media and sectors.

Besides my communications background, during my career I have specialised in the conceptualisation, marketing and management of market/exhibition events that provide a platform for SMMEs / entrepreneurs and businesses to showcase and promote their products/merchandise and services.

 

 

A specialised area of focus for me has been the informal economy (or 'System D'), where I have worked to create and execute solutions for subsistence entrepreneurs who run small and micro-enterprises.

A large part of my work has involved the promotion and marketing of entrepreneurs and SMMEs. One of my main objectives has been to initiate, provide and help promote more efficient, credible and commercially viable outlets for entrepreneurs/SMMEs to launch, operate, promote and expand their businesses.

I also aim to provide the public with a wider range of options for living healthier, more authentic, fulfilled and enjoyable lives.
